Math:   Continue doing a 5 min warm-up with a Math fact sheet of your choice and 5 min of Mental Math.   Work through any of MM 1-15 this week.  This week we will:  
1. Assess previously learned concepts
2. Identify symmetric figures 
3. Identify and draw lines of symmetry
4.Complete a symmetric figure with respect to a line of symmetry

Composition:
1. Complete writing from a prompt paragraph.
2. Make a story sequence KWO for a variation or a sequel to a fable.
3. Learn to dress-up writing by using an -ly opener.

Reading: Students should be reading a minimum of 40 minutes per day.  After each chapter students should narrate the passage to parents. Parents should then ask questions about the meaning of the passage and engage in Socratic discussion with their student.

1. Identify and name the main parts of a library. 
2. Use guide words to find words in a dictionary. 
3. Identify the parts of dictionary entry words.     
 
Spelling: Learn to spell more words with Long E spelled EA.

Latin:Listen to Latin chants daily to aid in memorization.

Vocabulary Definitions:
Electromagnetism: the effect that takes place when an electric current flows through a wire, forming a magnetic field.
Electricity: the effect caused by the presence or movement of electrically charged particles. 
Memory Work:  Please spend 15 minutes per day working on the following memory work.
