1. Divide 2-place decimals by a whole number where the quotient is less than 1.
2. Divide 2-place decimals by a 1-digit whole number.
3. Divide decimal numbers by adding decimal places when there is a remainder.
4. Estimate the quotient for division of decimals
5. Round the quotient to one decimal place

Objectives:
1. Write a story consisting of 3 paragraphs which describe what is happening in a series of pictures.
2. Practice the Writing from Pictures structure: Central Fact, Details, and Clincher for each paragraph.
3. Use stylistic techniques of incorporating 6 dress-ups, vocab & a prepositional opener into each paragraph.
4. Practice public speaking skills by reciting Poem 3

Grammar

1. Know that the Cold War was a conflict between the US and the Soviet Union fought without weapons
2. Explore the role the Cold War had on space exploration
3. Know that American President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963 in Dallas, TX
4. Know that Martin Luther King Jr. started the Civil Rights movement to strive for integration and equality through non-violent protest.

Science
Objectives:
1. Identify types of bird nests 
2. Match bird species with nest type

Objective:
1. Spell words containing the sound of /n/ spelled gn.
2. Assess phonograms
Here are instructions for administering the assessment.
Phonogram Drill Form (written portion) - Parents, read the sound or sounds on the card. Or if you prefer, you can play the sound on the
AAS app.  Your student should then write the corresponding phonogram in the box. Mark any your child missed.
Classical Phonics Assessment Tracker (oral portion) - Show the card to the student. He or she should be able to correctly identify all
the sounds associated with that card.
Please note any phonograms your child missed on the form.

Writing
Objectives:
