It has been a blessing and a privilege to be your classroom teacher this year!  I hope you have enjoyed 4th grade, learned much, and grown in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Students and parents, thanks so much for your diligence at home, and for making this year such a great one!

No doubt there are many exciting summer plans on the horizon, but do not forget to exercise those brains!  Here are some suggestions:
  • Read!  A lot.  Read aloud whenever possible.
  • Review Math    The Singapore Math Primary Mathematics US Edition Extra Practice books are an excellent resource for reviewing all that was taught in A and B this year.  Christianbook.com.
Singapore Math Intensive Practice books are another great resource. These are challenging reviews of concepts learned and divided into A and B, so are not as attainable to complete over summer.  Choose the grade level you just completed, or go back a level, but not up.  Christianbook.com
  • Write in a personal journal about things you do over the break.  Write down your thoughts, things you do and experience, and any new things you learn or want to learn.  Prayers and favorite Bible verses are great things to write too!
  • Keep on memorizing things!
  • Read! A lot.
Have a wonderful summer!

Much Love,
Mrs. Johnson
