Objective: Write a polished final draft of a 3-paragraph story including dress-ups and new vocabulary

Objectives:

2. Know that homonyms are words that sound the same but have different meanings and spellings
3. Use the correct homonym to complete a sentence correctly

Latin
Objective: Review the 2nd Declension for Latin nouns

History
Objectives: 
1. Research and report on newspaper owners Randolph Hearst, Joseph Pulitzer and their impact on the Spanish American War
2. Know that Teddy Roosevelt led the Rough Riders in a fight with Spanish soldiers in Cuba
3. Know that Korea was a battleground for a war between China and Japan.

Science
Objectives:
1. Identify characteristics of ants and other social insects
2. Continue to collect, study, and identify Texas insects.

Continue to add to your insect collection. You will need to have 10 different insects, all labeled with the Order,
name of insect, date, and location.

Memory Work:  Please spend 15 minutes per day working on the following memory work.
Poetry:  Our first quarter poem is "Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening".  Additional copies .here.
Geography:  We will begin our study of Western Europe this week.

3. Name and give examples of each of the eight parts of speech: Noun, Verb, Pronoun, Adjective, Adverb, Preposition,Interjection, Conjunction
