2. Know that weight is the pull of gravity on a mass.
2. Know that the force of gravity attracts objects to one another.
3. Know that the strength of the pull of gravity between two objects depends on their masses.

Mass: the amount of matter contained in an object.
Weight: a measure of the strength of the pull of gravity on an object.

Memory Work:  Please spend 15 minutes per day working on the following memory work.

1. Complete research on aspects of WW II.
2. Share findings of WW II research with classmates.

At this point, you should have several facts on aspects of WW II. You will now use these facts to write about you've learned.
You may use notes and outlines taken class, or you may use your own.
Your sources need to be cited. (Refer to the Bibliography handout and practice you did in class).
Depending on how you choose to present your project, the written portion will look different. If you are making a lapbook or
board presentation, you will have several facts and short descriptive paragraphs about different aspects of the war. 
If you are creating a diorama, you will write three paragraphs about your topic, each with a topic sentence, interesting facts
about your topic, and a clincher sentence.
Strive to incorporate dress-ups (strong verbs, -ly, who/which clauses) to make your report even more interesting!
Cursive is encouraged, but not required.
