Discipleship
Start your home school day with prayer and Bible reading.  This month's character virtue is perseverance, this week focusing on the habit of doing right.

Math:   Continue doing a 5 min warm-up with a Math fact sheet of your choice and 5 min of Mental Math.   Work through any of MM 1-15 this week.  This week we will:
Review and practice previously learned skills.

Composition:  Complete writing the RD of your sequel or variation and begin writing the final draft.

Reading: Students should be reading a minimum of 40 minutes per day.  After each chapter students should narrate the passage to parents. Parents should then ask questions about the meaning of the passage and engage in Socratic discussion with their student.
Spelling: Learn to spell words with the sound of /er/ as in journey.

Latin:Listen to Latin chants daily to aid in memorization.

History:
Our history card this week focuses on Sept 11,2001. You decide how much or little you want to share with your student. The 9/11 Memorial has tips on talking to your children about terrorism which may be helpful. Talking To Children
