Start your home school day with prayer and Bible reading.  This month's character virtue is Courage.  http://www.kidsofintegrity.com/lessons/courage has some great Bible studies and lessons to help you instill this character quality in your child.

Math 
Objectives:
1. Find the volume of a solid in cubic units.
2. Build solids from unit cubes.
3. Find the volume of a cube, given its length, width, and height.
4. Recognize volume equivalency.
5. Review previously learned skills, reteaching where necessary.

Work through any of the Mental Math 1-15 this week.

Objectives:  Your student should aim to read for 30-40 minutes each home day.
 Composition
Objective: Write a final draft of your myth sequel or variation, complete with dress-ups.
This  is our final piece of the year.  Don't hold back! We are looking forward to some fantastic, creative, and well-polished writing to cap off all our efforts this year in IEW.  We'll be presenting them to the class next week.

Spelling
Objectives: 1.  Students will analyze six ways to spell the sound of /er/.
                     2.  Assess mastery of 71 basic phonograms   
History 
Students who are due to create a timeline figure are listed in red in the above table after the lesson number. The following class day, they will show the class the figure, tell  2-3 important points about the lesson, and place their figure on the classroom timeline.
