Please continue to complete two Math Fact worksheets per week. Set the timer for 5 min and circle the last problem your child completes. Then complete the page, correct, and return to school for recording.

Objectives:

1. Know that President Ronald Reagan & Mikhail Gorbachev played key roles in ending the Cold War.
2. Know that life in East Berlin was difficult until the fall of the Berlin Wall.
3. Know that the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 and the former USSR countries became independent countries.
4. Identify benefits and problems associated with nuclear power plants.

Science
Objectives:
1. Know that Raptors are birds of prey that use their strong feet, talons, and hooked beaks to catch and kill their prey.
2. Look at owl behavior
3. Dissect an owl pellet 
4. Research bird of choice and present findings to classmates

Students will be making a field guide of Texas birds using pictures from the Texas Parks & Wildlife publication.  For coloring accuracy, search birds here:  https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/
