Math:
Continue doing a 5 min warm-up with a Math fact sheet and 5 min of Mental Math.
Begin working through MM1 this week.Objectives:
1. Express a mixed number as a decimal.
2. Relate money in dollars and cents to decimals.
3. Express a 2-place decimal as a fraction in simplest form.
4. Compare and order numbers to 2 decimal places.
5. Add and subtract tenths and hundredths
Please complete all the work assigned for home days, including workbook and practice exercises, as
well as math facts practice. Please grade all work by first indicating which answers are incorrect and
then giving your student an opportunity to correct his/her mistakes before offering assistance
Composition:This week we are starting Unit 5, which is writing from pictures. Here's a link to help you gain confidence moving forward as Andrew Pudewa explains the vital role Unit 5 plays in unlocking students' imagination and in developing their thinking skills.

Vocabulary Definitions:
