Please continue to complete two Math Fact worksheets per week. Set the timer for 5 min and circle the last problem your child completes. Then complete the page, correct, and return to school for optional extra-credit recording.  

Objectives:

1. Assess multiplying and dividing decimals.

2. Investigate angles and turns.

3. Measure angles between 0 and 180 degrees with a protractor.

4. Express angles in terms of degrees and identify acute, obtuse, straight, and reflex angles.

5. Add and subtract angles.

Grammar

Objectives:

1. Students will be able to identify the parts of a book: title page, copyright page, preface, body, table of contents, appendix, glossary, bibliography, and index.  
2. Students will learn how to write a thank you note. 

3. Students will learn how to write an invitation: who, what, when, where, "whipped cream." 


Writing

Objectives:

1. Review structure of a 5 paragraph essay.

2. Begin compiling and writing a 5-paragraph essay including Introduction, 3 body paragraphs, and Conclusion.

3. Using the 3 paragraphs already written in Unit 6, students will create a KWO for an introduction & conclusion.

4. Write the RD for the conclusion.


NOTE: Students do not need to rewrite the three body paragraphs that have already been graded, but they will need to be included with the Intro & Conclusion in the correct order.

with this. Here are two: US Presidents: Washington to Trump and an older version, US Presidents to "America"
